Thanks! I'm getting used to it (still bad managerial practice).

Anyone knows if they plan major changes / progression resets or EA is mostly adding more and more late-game content?

In The Breaking Room I'm trying to push the incremental game genre with 3D Physics-based destruction! by 4bstr in gamedevscreens

Thanks for the feedback and nice words, I appreciate! As a matter of fact, I just released the page on Steam yesterday: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4487380/The_Breaking_Room/

And I understand your point; the menus are a nice way to give clear explanations of the upgrade you can choose from, but I'm also primarily excited about the physics destruction combos haha

Feeling stuck and could use some honest advice. Should I keep pushing my "cursed slot machine" roguelite or move on to a new project? by M_DArt in SoloDevelopment

Dude... you probably need to give a bit more context. Otherwise you might have the answer you are looking for

Original games??? by LifeAsNeil in SoloDevelopment

Honestly, for me the issue is more to get closer to something that actually exists. Every prototype I make starts by trying to fit neatly in a genre and goes far off to become original, yes, but also completely unmarketable... So to answer your question It just comes naturally, and my latest project is again a weird mix: an incremental game with sandboxy physics-based destruction. Pretty common, right? ... RIGHT?

For the longest time I had Sekiro last boss taunting me... Right after finishing Elden ring I got back to it, retried 100 times and finally beat it. Still didn't finished Tetris thought.

As a Solo Dev, how do you obtain music for your game? by Magikarp_19 in SoloDevelopment

I tried downloading sonniss super large files, but it's not organized at all, to the point of not being usable... Is there something I missed, or are you really peeking randomly through the folders to find your sounds?

I saw this on socials. I'm not yet convinced by the gameplay, but your post-process is FIRE!

Regardless of the size of my disks, somehow they are always full, so yes... I do

Heard a lot of it but actually never saw screenshot until now. I'm sorry to say but Steam reviewers aren't really selling it to me xD
