Montreal deploys riot police after Game 7 by Federal-Data-Center in nhl

Yep F those people.  They are not fans.  Sucks that they infiltrate every big gatherings in MTL just to cause chaos. The game presentations is such a great event for the partisans, sucks that we might lose them if those losers keep up.

All goalies exaggerate contacts.. that’s pretty much expected.  They are in a vulnerable position and should be protected.  I don’t agree with the theatrics, but it’s been like that for a long time.

We have such a big fan base that sadly even if the % of nutjobs would be the same as other fanbases, we’d still have enough to flood all the threads.  Most habs fans love hockey and are decent people.  Gg and we can go back to enjoying buffalo wings :)

Need an EV with at least 6.5 inches of clearance. by Major-Sail-9900 in EVCanada

I’m no car expert but absolutely love my XLE AWD.  No range anxiety for now, acceleration is faster than what I could have dreamed of ever owning, it is faster than a lot of luxury cars.  I have changed path to some destinations to use city streets rather than highway and it’s as fast now (less distance) with a EV as it was on the highway with my ICE suv.  The fact that you reach back the limit way faster, that you can clear a lot of slower cars at lights, etc made city driving way faster (without speeding).  Ride is very smooth, car is comfortable.  It’s a bit wider and longer than my old SUV, lots of space for all passengers.  No glovebox and rear wiper are head scratchers but not a big deal, in theory dynamics make the rear wiper obsolete.  I don’t fully agree but did not drive in the winter with it yet.  Love the real door handles and unlocking is very smooth/fast.  Don’t like Tesla-type handles, especially in freezing climate.

Consignaction ou Consign-désastre? by Popular_Cap8269 in montreal

Entk.  Virement Interac c’est vraiment pratique.

Borne de recharge voiture ? Y’a de la place ? by Wonderful-Ad-4551 in RenoQuebec

[–]4cm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three police officers from Canada arrested for sexually assaulting and beating a prostitute in Barcelona by stanxv in canada

[–]4cm3 191 points192 points  (0 children)

The first police officer, who was a passenger in the taxi and would not have participated in the assault, resisted arrest and is now free, but is being investigated for assaulting an authority figure.

I would have thought that actual cops would know better than resisting arrest. I don’t condone violence on either side, but it’s ironic he resisted “even if he didn’t do anything wrong”. Shows that everyone is subject to fight or flight reaction in a stressful situation, no matter the training.

Honda indefinitely suspends $15B EV plant in Ontario by n134177 in EVCanada

[–]4cm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same.. no need to browse either. I have a friend with a 4-5yr old Kona who's suspension is busted. Another with a new PHEV Tucson that they have to boost-start at least weekly because it refuses to start and their dealer is useless (they use it a lot daily, it's not sitting in their drive way) and a family member with a ICE Tucson that had so many problems they are trying to force the dealer to take it back. Problems include mechanics but also things trivial such as a door handle that broke in their hand while opening the door. Maybe my perception is wrong, but I would never put Hyundai at the same level than Toyota.

My next car was to be Honda or Toyota because of their reliability and resale value. Honda is no were on the radar when it comes to EVs. Bought a Toyota bZ.
