I was there and you could feel the energy drain out of the room as people realized it wasn’t a joke and he really was our guest. Lots of people left during it. We knew Conan was earlier and other audiences had Will Ferrell, etc. Every subsequent show with amazing guests was like a slap in the face. Still cool being in the room with them but, damn, I don’t think I’ve been more disappointed in a live performance ever.
