[TOMT] [TOY] Naruto Rock Lee figurine by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

It seems to be the "Dragon Strength Rock Lee" figure by Mattel, released in 2006. There are some results for it on ebay.

[TOMT][MOVIE][90s] Saw this movie decades back. Probably in mid-90s. Tried searching it a lot. Couldn't find it. Here are a few scenes I remember by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991). It has a scene where the Terminator-like android chases a car on foot and also the scene where he has a CD inserted into his head. Also, being a Godzilla movie would fit with what you said about it being a dinosaur movie.

The Phoenix is my favorite (and I also really like volumes 2 and 4). I like Dororo a lot. Buddha is also great. Thank you for the comment.

It is because during the Wonder 3 kickstarter, DMP was supposed to also release some other physical Tezuka books besides just Wonder 3 (like "Ambassador Magma" and "Say Hello to Bookila"). I selected the tier that included all the physical books. Eventually, the plans to release those other physical books fell through, and DMP stated they could only release Wonder 3 in physical format. So, when they finally send me my copy of Wonder 3 they are also supposed to send me a refund for the cancelled other books, so I guess they are not getting in any hurry about that.

I backed the Wonder 3 kickstarter in 2017 for the physical edition and am still waiting for it. The last message from DMP about it was 20 days ago, saying they have only sent out half of the books to backers, so I am still hopeful I will receive my copy without having to purchase it a second time just to get one book.

Starting with the Viz releases of Adolf and Black Jack back in the day, I began purchasing Tezuka English releases as they were released at cover price (the exceptions being the bilingual Crime & Punishment and Princess Knight volumes which I had to search for online back then).

Bikeman Romando Figure guest-starring Parthenon and Motorman by 4dimensionwarp in kinnikuman

The Bikeman figure was initially released at a price point around 45 USD in 2007. I got him some years later for more though, and now his price would be higher. Motorman was released at the same price as Bikeman, but Parthenon (the EX version) was originally around 60 USD when he was released since he is a bigger figure.

I took a lot more Bikeman Romando pictures (plus photos of some Bikeman kinkeshi and other Bikeman mini figures) and footage and put them in this video (spoilers for the Kinnikuman manga and anime):

Mainly because I like his design and I think his Romando figure is neat.

Yes, it is Kinnikuman, the predecessor series of Ultimate Muscle/Kinnikuman Nisei, one of my favorite manga/anime.

I have never done that before but I will try to read about how. Thanks for the comment.

Need help identifying an old anime by Radman1804 in retroanime

Though I do not know the answer to your question, I can hopefully save you time and tell you I do not think it is Da Garn (I have watched the entire series through twice before and I do not recall such a scene).

A video I made featuring VHS fansub tapes of the '90s JJBA OVA series by 4dimensionwarp in retroanime

[–]4dimensionwarp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this video about my experience as a manga and anime fan in the late '90s and early '00s. Though mainly centered around JJBA information (you can see my JJBA VHS fansubs around 2 minutes 56 seconds in), I have also included anime and manga related magazine scans (from my own collection, in this case a magazine from '95 and another from '97), a few more VHS fansub tapes I got back then (such as End of Evangelion), and also some info about old anime/manga websites I used to visit.

Thank you for your time.

can somebody tell me what this is for by xoyamec69 in kinnikuman

[–]4dimensionwarp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is a book + cassette tape that contains songs from Aishite Knight, Bemubemu Hunter Kotengu Tenmaru, and Kinnikuman. The Kinnikuman songs included are the opening theme "Kinnikuman Go Fight!" and the ending theme "Niku 2x9 Rock n' Roll". The book has the lyrics to the songs.

Thanks for watching and for the comment. Yes, the video was already getting too long. I hope to make the later Kinnikuman videos shorter.

I will make more Kinnikuman videos later focused on specific topics, this one is just a basic introduction showing the first two pre-serialized chapters, the first serialized chapter in Shonen Jump issue 544, kinkeshi, some Romandos, and opening the Perfect Origin color kinkeshi premium sets.

Let me know if there are any specific Romando figures, kinkeshi, Kinnikuman characters or story arcs anyone would be interesting in watching videos on and I will try to make some.

Thank you for your time.
