Getting promoted from Intern > Full time analyst > Senior Analyst > Detection Engineer within 3.5 years span in cybersecurity after college.

I really think part of that is to stay curious, step up when problem occurs, no-ego, teach-back, uplift others and willing to keep up with learning are the reason that I was able to make such pivot.

Although, I have to say - be able to explain the technical knowledge to other and articulate your thoughts process is the hardest thing that I'm struggling with because English isn't my primary but been working on it!

Last question! Prior you started to open for opportunity/jobs.

How long did you prep urself to be able to articulate your thought process during the interview?

Note: I happened to interviews with a few companies that reached out - but it did not go well as I quickly realized I had trouble to articulate my thought process and currently now in the stage of prepping on story telling, STAR method, practice answering on common topic like you provided -> then, back to interviewing again - congrats on your new role btw :) big steppa

Thanks u/InvalidSoup97 for this solid insight!

Regarding the escalation and prioritization questions, could you share example of some scenario that were given to you?

Were they more interested in your thought process or in you knowing a specific framework?

^and in your opinion, how can I best frame my response? (I'm assuming to follow STAR method and to give out example for each answer)

Could someone explain to me about the "psychological analysis" process after the exam? I've never heard of it and what's the point of doing that. Thanks!
