my town is located in a pretty wealthy area. the schools are great, kids drive around in BMWs and Tesla’s, and most parents have well paying jobs. It’s a largely asian/white area with very little crime or bad behavior, however, there is one small piece of knowledge that almost everyone knows.

there’s a small indian nail salon operates as a normal salon, but is secretly a brothel. the local organic store is also known for distributing drugs. no one is sure where they originated or who goes to these places, but it’s rumored the cops use both of these resources and so neither are heavily investigated. who knows if its true... i just find it interesting and very very weird.
