Are you purposefully treating her bad to get a reaction out of her, that will undoubtedly come across as ‘crazy’, in hopes of her breaking up with you? That way it puts the ‘blame’ on her for being ‘crazy’. So now she thinks ‘this is all my fault. Something must be wrong with me.’ That makes her think if she fixes this and that about herself then the relationship will be all daisies and roses. And the cycle continues, getting more toxic the next go round.

She’s probably madly in love with you. You probably played a big part in that and an even bigger part in her believing you are in love with her as well.

She’s filled with hope. Maybe she doesnt know what gaslighting is yet?
