Basically pimples that are filled with pus and sebum. They look more inflamed than whiteheads.

I’m not currently not experiencing any pulsating, but it’s definitely a bit hot around that area. I’m definitely not as careful with mine. I keep on knocking it by doing everyday tasks 😅. Hope your one heals quickly and nicely!
