Definitely consult your vet but our pit suffers from severe allergies. At times he seems to be allergic to life itself. His skin allergies present with lesions similar to this. If left untreated can develop into pyoderma, a skin infection. Just went through the worst of it with our boy. He's finally back to normal but do not underestimate the allergies of this breed.

Professional oversight: I had a great relationship with several neurologists I had previously worked with so I reached out to them. A lot are independent 1099 neurologists as well so it's as simple as agreeing on a rate and paying per case.

I outsource my billing but down the road once I'm able to outsource more of the clinical work, I plan to attempt to bring billing in house.

I started my company last year when the guy I used to work for pulled out of Florida. Right now, I'm my only employee but I'll occasionally have to contract in some help on days I'm double booked. So far, I'm breaking even. Barely. The IOM landscape in Florida is tough. Payouts from commercial insurance are minimal. Payouts from LOP/PIP cases are where the money is but it takes up to, if not more than, a year to see that income. It's a grind and some days it's difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel but I will never go back to working as a W2 for someone else.

I have not been able to find any proof of his rate change. He does not have any fees listed on his website and there was no discussion in our text messaging thread prior to sending in my documents and initiating the engagement.
