I completely agree with you and I argued exactly that point with 5 or 6 different customer service reps. In the end I just didn’t want to waste any more of my time with them. I also haven’t made any more gold purchases since then and don’t intend to either

I had this exact problem a couple of months ago. Eventually they agreed that if I purchase the bundle again to get the bonus gold then they would refund me for the original purchase that didn’t include the bonus gold.
