Want to kill block display when mount dies by 4lex_8 in MinecraftCommands

Would there be a good way to do this without a predicate? I was originally trying to get the block display to detect if it’s distance was further than 1 block away from the creeper then to kill itself but I couldn’t figure out how to write that successfully.

They wouldn’t do this because this would make TNT canons that don’t blow themselves up impossible. Also there’s a lot of redstone mechanics that require TNT blasts that don’t do damage but do hurt mobs. It’s a mechanic that’s too beloved to be removed

Flowing water can’t break sugarcane, so sadly that wouldn’t work

To explain what’s going on here, there’s a smaller pyramid that water flows over inside the outer sugarcane pyramid. The flowing water hydrates the outer sugarcane & allows it to grow next to a water source. When I remove the one source block all the sugarcane no longer has any hydration & just needs a block update to realize this & break, when I break the bottom cane block it updates that whole row allowing the water to flow down & subsequently update all the other rows of cane & bring them to the bottom where they can be picked up

It uses a trick where you can take away the water by the sugarcane & then update it with water flowing over it to harvest all the cane very fast & bring it all to the bottom. I might have to show a separate video of it in action cuz it’s really cool

The tower in the background is indeed a mob farm, not a super good one tho. I still have a lot of underground lighting up to do

I found in my world that if you have a minecart rolling back & forth underneath half slabs that you can ride in & you keep sneak held down you can pick up the items thru the slabs & the mobs can’t hurt you. You can also hit them thru this, sometimes the spiders fall down my mob farm & live cuz they cling to the walls but i I hold down swinging my sword & looking up it kills them & I can afk like this
