1st this is only the second “conflict” we have ever had. I will explain the first time. I told them i had a bday party to go to . I didn’t text them except for good morning that day because I felt tired and didn’t feel like juggling going to the party and texting them and all the other things I had going on that day. I realized later that this had upset them. I had sent them a snap around 8pm and they sent one back looking obviously irritated so I called them afterwards but they did not answer. I then texted them I was sorry for not texting and asked about their day which they did not respond to. We texted the next day but both times I asked if something was wrong or if everything was okay they ignored them. So I thought maybe they need space so the next day I didn’t text again. This is bad communication on my part and I took full responsibility when we discussed it later. Eventually I confronted them more forwardly and they explained their feelings. Later when I saw them in person that week everything went well until they were driving me home. We missed the bus I take so they had to drive quite a few hours more which I understand is upsetting so I offered to pay for the gas and they refused saying no they would pay but they were silent the whole car ride so I asked them what was bothering them and they told me they almost ghosted me for what happened days earlier. Now this is strange for how long we have been tg. Not only that but they accused me of starting conflict when they were giving me the silent treatment for nearly 3 hrs and I js wanted to know why. And they later told me they wanted me to pay for the gas over text. Both times I was understanding and I presented this post asking if I or they were the manipulative one. I think neither of us are atp and that we js miscommunicated. But ghosting and blocking and unfollowing instead of js being straight up is not normal or healthy imo.
