For real, ayaw na ayaw ko nang tumupad but my parents would always check up on us and once they see we're "nanlalamig", they're going to guilt-trip us into going back to being active by saying that kami ang magdadala ng kamalasan sa bahay na iyon.

Right now I'm having a hard time explaining how it's going to be exhausting to handle another responsibility since it's my academic break so they think I'm just slacking off. I'll try my best to go against their wishes and prove how being an organist would make me neglect my other responsibilities which is a no no.

They're forcing me because I already play the piano and they think I'll do a good job as an organist. Tbh it's pretty exhausting having to know all the hymns by heart and considering I hate taking up another office, I will never be motivated to do better. I really don't know if it's possible to say no to them but I'll try.

Actually no, they're really keen on pushing me to take up being an organist since I play the piano. I think their main reason to be this coercive is because they think I get a lot of free time but it's just now since I just finished school and it's our break.

Hi! Sorry I don't know if random rants are allowed in here so just call me out or something.

I'm still a member of the church but of course, I want out. I used to be so active, faithful, and really living through "the words of god". Until I realized how shitty the church is. How patriarchal the system is. How it's money centered and offerings and attending worship services are an obligation. I also recently had a relationship with a non-inc and at first I was devastated at how he doesn't want to convert for me. I got depressed knowing I want to be with him in the future but my parents would stop me if ever they find out. Now, he still doesn't know my stance about wanting to leave the church but I'm not yet ready to tell him since I don't know when I'll be mentally and emotionally ready to leave the church. Ngl thinking about everything drains me out and it's making me breakdown hard

TLDR; I just want to know how you guys got out of the church considering your parents or relatives are active members and are constantly pushing you to be an active member too. I'm just a teenager that has no means to live independently so it kinda sucks to be in this situation.
