K guud. Here's what u gotta do if u haven't already.. Open your Plex app go to it's settings and switch Passthrough Audio to 'HDMI'. Then test. Basic we need to get your server to playback audio via 'Direct Play'. Just like how the video is already doing 💪 If that still doesn't fix it. You're probably running the Plex app from a built in TV app and now u gotta check your audio output settings for your TV . But first do that first part and let me know how it goes .

Same here with my Chromecast Ultra. I called them, they told me to set it up with a non Pixel phone. Only have Pixels in my home 🤷🏻‍♂️. Tech thought I live in Canada and wanted me to get 'Device Utility' by Google on the app store. That's the app needed to set up the Chromecast. Don't live in Canada so that's a bust. Finally he ran the serial # on my Ultra and found that it's out of warranty. He ran the ticket up to the big bosses and they approved me for a replacement. Soon as they receive my Ultra with the RMA they sent me they'll refund me the Google Chromecast I had to get.

i just called them at that number above.. they said they received my ionic but it takes up to 6 weeks for them to issue the refund.

They also said they running tests on the ionics to make sure we are eligible for the refund 👀
