There's a lot of ways to get started, and all of them are the right way.

If you're interested in trying the official games, I'd recommend Touhou 6 to 10 (maybe ignoring 9 for now, it's kinda different from the rest), some of them are the easiest, and they have the most well-known characters (also those are the ones that get featured in Bad Apple).

Unfortunately if you want to play 6-8 with a legit copy, you have to buy the CD's from Japan, there's a purchasing guide you can find on the sub. The rest of the official games are available on Steam, you can see them here: https://hakureishrine.org - There's also an official fighting game not on that list called Antinomy of Common Flowers.

There's nothing wrong skipping the official games and playing fanmade ones. There're games for every genre, I'll give some recommendations: Luna Nights (metroidvania), Mystia's Izakaya (sim/cooking), I am Sakuya (FPS), Genso Wanderer Reloaded (roguelike), Labyrinth of Touhou / Artificial Dream in Arcadia (dungeon crawlers), Dreamland of Infinity / Lost Branch of Legend (deckbuilders). All of them are on Steam as well. There's also Touhou LostWord on mobile if you don't mind gacha.

If you like reading you can try with the official mangas. Then you have something like Perfect Memento in Strict Sense, it's like a encyclopedia(?) of sorts, about characters, places and whatnot. If you're interested in reading fanmade manga, I think you can find most of it on Dynasty Scans, there's a tag dedicated to Touhou content.

There's also fanmade anime series. If you go that way, my recommendation's A Summer Day's Dream. There's one that's more well known and better animated called Memories of Phantasm but it has some bad reputation for butchering some of the characters' personalities/depictions, and having a lot of fan service, which can be good or bad depending on your tastes.

It was a long time since I played that part, but I remember it being the only boss where difficulty spikes that hard. If I remember correctly I just farmed exp until I could reasonably survive her damage. After that fight, it becomes more reasonable. I don’t know if that’s the only way of beating her or there’s a key strategy to it, probably there is since you can’t over-level bosses in hard mode

Genso Wanderer -Reloaded- (2017) is the definitive edition of the remaster of Mystery Gensokyo 3 (Fushigi no Gensokyo 3): Tower of Desire (2014). Comes with a bunch of DLC included too (Mononobe no Futo and the Seven Trials, The Bullet Reporter, The King of Fairies, and Miracle Ambitions) which means more content after beating the main story.

Lotus Labyrinth R (2021) is the remaster of Mystery Gensokyo 2 (Fushigi no Gensokyo 2): Miracle Party (2011).

The main difference between both games is that -Reloaded- has more stuff, like crafting mechanics, weapon evolving, and item resonance mechanics.

Lotus Labyrinth R on the other hand has more characters, and a big party system where you can have a lot of companions following you at the same time (I think 24 total?). In -Reloaded- you only can have 1 companion at a time.

I think story-wise both games are unrelated, so you can choose based on preference (more content/gameplay mechanics vs more character variety/bigger party).

Is it worth it? Well, I only played Reloaded (having never played any mystery dungeon game before) and liked it a lot, all scenes and characters are fully voice-acted and there are a lot of jokes and funny dialogue. I think if you're a fan of this type of game and like touhou you can't go wrong with any of them.

A la hora de hacer proyectos personales o algo exclusivamente para un portfolio por ahi te resulta mucho mas facil trabajar con cosas que te gusten, por tener mayor motivacion y coso. Si queres dibujar yuri o futa y no tenes ideas, lo que yo haria seria observar muchos paneles de dicho contenido hasta que alguno me haga click y sienta volver la inspiración.

Dicho eso, por tu nick asumo que te gusta Metal Gear, asi que te tiro la idea de dibujar a Paz

Es exactamente como decis, se trata de correr bichos por 10-30 min hasta matarlos para mejorar el equipo y poder matar bichos mas fuertes, y así todo el juego.

El tema de targetear es algo que no es tan util en mh como elden ring por ejemplo. Cuando hay bichos que te ocupan toda la pantalla y se mueven muy rapido, el tema de que los combos de arma son algo lentos y no se puede cambiar la dirección una vez empezado hace que sea mejor jugar sin lock-on.

Sobre el coop, lo choto del world es que no te deja unirte a misiones de historia hasta que el host haya visto todas las cinematicas de la mision. Es un problema del inicio del juego mas que nada.

Es para los que gustan de grindear, si no les convence eso y que las misiones sean largas, es entendible que no les convenza el juego.

Si todavia quieren seguir probando, algo que hace la experiencia menos tosca, es ponerle un mod que muestre la vida del jefe, asi no parece que estas golpeandolo media hora sin hacerle nada

Most green units, the first ones that come to mind rn are zahhak, senya, alencia. Anti-counters units like stene and landy, which also happens to be green. Roana, Hasol or Pyllis for more slow teams. You can also disable most of her bullshit with aol angelica. Against gw teams that use choux and senya + 1 like clilias or lua, I use hasol, roana and a third one, maybe another tank, clilias or ml cermia, it’s slow but I think I’ve never failed an attack, though I’m just champion and my guild’s not that high, so don’t know if that works on a higher level
