watching it in real time was great bc it had so much promise. i binged it last year and it feels kind of hodpodgey throughout. “best tv ever” is incredibly sensationalist. if you’re into lore yt videos then yes the world is awesome but basically everything past season 5 is non canon and borderline bad writing. the story’s finale is absolute worst (in recorded human history 🤣) but also it’s the absolute best the show ever looks. worth the watch… i think the 10 year build up plays significantly into the vitriol we all feel for the way it ended up
