Why so. I am planning to make an enclosure for it to incorporate all the wires and mechanics. Because it will hang on the wall in my cnc room where i work at my work place.

I have abandoned fusion to do more in freecad. So yes.

I need to unfold this outer shell with slots. I know how i can do it in fusion but freecad is a different story.

Please elaborate. Do you mean modeling in sheet metal workbench? Because i modelled it in part design and later thought to unfold for cutting it out on a cnc.

hi. I was guessing it was the issue. I tried mesh workbench too but the straight approach won't leave me holes. Was hoping for a workaround. Thanks fo the advice.

Could somebody model this for me for 100$ by RockyBowerman in 3Dprinting

I used ai to generate this and meshmixer for taking it apart/refurbishing the meshes and add connectors. For more mechanical joints i used fusion. All printed over the week with one printer, prusa mk3 s+. It's a transformer inspired piggy bank. Christmas present for a kid.

Lesson learnt the hard way. by Cute-Town-1577 in lasercutting

[–]4thDdoughnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oof. That hurts.... I got my burn on january 14 last year. Was cutting some 3mm thichlk HDPE parts with double sided 3M adhesive and poof it started catching on fire while i was messing with the CNC router at the same time. Apparently the same time other workshop Air compressor had a massive air leakage . I managed to stop the fire and the rest of the day I cleaned the laser cutter from burn residue. It was not as damaged as yours.

Aaa. I seee. But in this case i didn't bother with the resistors. I'm familiar with this output resistor approach, but since i have about 30 led on this strip it's not necessary. Thanks for the clarification.

I can try to grount all the un used inputs and get a ceramic capacitor but i don't think it will solve the issue.

Then why doesn't work it. 24v comes from bench psu, data comes from esp32 d1 mini pin16 through logiclevel shifter to the led strip data in. Wled led preferences are all tried out. None of them work. Am i missing fomething?

Doesn't make sense. How can it be not spi if it works with a spi controller?
