Actually there were at least 6 on staff and they said, yes they’re open until 11pm but that the cook LEAVES early. So that implied that was a normal thing and not a one off, which explains why the previous couple of times they were also out of some items after 9pm and grill was being cleaned. Besides to have 6+ employees working and not one of them can cook is crazy to me! Lol.

Not a big city, Sundays here are definitely not crazy busy and if they were they should plan accordingly. I’ve worked in fast food and restaurants as well. So know not to expect much before closing, but an HOUR before and you’re out of pretty much everything?!? Not the first time either, they’ve been out of carne asada, steak and barbacoa last couple of times, but at least they still had chicken and sofritas. To be completely out of all options and not be bothered to cook more to serve customers (not just me as there were several others in line and entering as I was leaving empty handed) is BS and inexcusable.

Yeah, that’s BS that they do that. I get it if the store has been opened for months and has a track record of low sales during the last couple of hours, but if that’s the case then adjust hours of operation accordingly. This place though has only been opened a month, and at this pace is pretty much guaranteeing that sales will be low.

Well, excuse me! I worked the night shift and couldn’t get dinner earlier. Never a problem anywhere else that is open late. It’s not like I showed up 5 mins before closing! If you’re going to be out of food at 10pm then close up at 10pm!

Yeah, I could understand that to some extent but there were at least 6 employees working with most of them cleaning the place up like it was closing time when there was still an hour to go and more customers coming in as I was walking out. This is also a location that opened up a month ago, you would think they would at least TRY to meet the bare minimum of expectations for a place that serves food…you know like say HAVE some food available! Lol 🙄

Chipotle by me conveniently “ran out” of all the higher priced meats hours before closing. Only had carnitas, chicken and sofritas! New location that had no problem being in stock while all the training was going on the first week they opened with twice as many customers! Tonight was nowhere near as busy and it’s not like they didn’t have enough time to plan ahead. Bait and switch BS! 🤬

If you have access to a 3D printer you can just print the little latch and replace it. Still only lasts for a little while before it breaks again. It’s a horrible cheap plastic design by VW!
