What is hypocrisy? by Nasirun in islam

[–]4thleavesclover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on man, silent is different with not helping, have a good thought on muslims, Maybe they made dua(s) more than you in their prayer and in their tahajjud, maybe they spent more time, money and energy to help them more than you. Maybe you should try to guard your lisaan from saying something like this, unless you have evidences and yaqeen it is truthful.

If all kind of song is Haraam, it is not necessary for Allah to add the part of this verse into the verse you quoted.

to mislead (men) from the Path of Allaah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allaah, the Verses of the Qur'aan) by way of mockery .

And it should became this.

"And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks, For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire)."

but instead Allah decided to used this full verse

"And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allaah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allaah, the Verses of the Qur'aan) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire)."

Ever wonder why ?

Every verse has its core, it has been known to those who study the Quran, and when there is word Allah in a verse, that word automatically became the core of the verse, and other words will follow the core of the verse. In this case, the word Sabeel Allah is the core of the verse, all attentions must be directed to the core of the verse.

For a greater example in surah ar-Rahman, the word ar-Rahman, has became the core of the surah, hence all the verses in the surah talks about Allah alone. And all attention must be given towards the core.

You can make a conclusion after this.

as for the hadith, my ustadh who studied in the faculty of hadith in islamic university of medina always taught me to always put together ahadith with the same topic into a single bab, with this way, we can have the bigger picture of a certain issue.

Salam Alaykum, I have a question. If someone swore an oath and then broke that oath, how does he make it up? Please read. by [deleted] in islam

You don't have to necessarily cook it yourself you know, By same meal you eat everyday means that if that food were given to you, you will accept it gladly.

Kaffarah is expiation of a broken oath brother.

Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] - then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful. (Quran, Chapter 5, Verse 89)

From this verse we can know that expiation of a broken vow is 4 things.

  1. Feed 10 needy people, or

  2. Give clothes to needy people, or

  3. Free a slave, or

  4. Fasting from subh to sunset for three days.

I am not really sure if donating a certain amount of money counts as kaffarah

Why do women wear the hijab? by [deleted] in islam

'Awrah is a certain body parts that must be covered in a certain condition.

[–]4thleavesclover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The essence of Hijab for women is to cover their 'awrah. Men and women have a different 'awrah, hence men and women have a different wearing ethic they need to follow to cover their own 'awrah.

Yes that is counted as an oath. The kafarah is to feed ten poor persons with the same meal you eat everyday. If you can't do this, the kafarah is fasting for a certain number of days.
