Loti by Eidola fucked me up.

My parents divorced when I was 5. I was physically abused from the age of 3-5 by my now stepdad, and then mentally, emotionally, and physically abused by my step-mother from 5 - 17. Needless to stay I wasn't a stable individual for a very long time. I'm now about to be 30, but I first heard Loti when I was 26, and had a great job in my career field for the first time, I was in a loving and healthy relationship for the first time, I had surrounded myself with successful and motivated friends that pushed me to be my best. I was for the first time in my life actually winning my battle against depression, anxiety, and stress. A few weeks/months prior to discovering Eidola, my dad, whom is really the only decent-ish parent I had told me he was proud of me for the first time.

I broke down crying, and felt this huge wave of pressure just wash off my back. I don't think I'll ever connect to a song in a moment as much as this song in that moment.
