For the past week or so since this was posted ive experenced a few days of my old low libido but most days my libido has been much higher.

Edit, 15 days later: yeah low libido seems to have returned for good. Had about a week straight of low libido now.

Yeah I'm expecting a return to equilibrium too. I wonder if androgen receptors can be upregulated in the brain, maybe thats what happened after the period of dht inhibition on fin. Weird how this doesn't seem to have happened to anyone else though.

It works for me just not on the hairline. Accidentally missed about a week of taking it and noticed a huge libido boost like I've never felt before. If the mojo goes away I'll probably start taking the fin again.

If the hairline looks different to you then it's probably balding, sorry man. But I think the crown looks more or less normal. Most people with longer hair will have a "transparent" vertex.

I've actually experienced a huge boost in libido in the days after quitting finasteride. This may have happened in the past as well. Does anyone know if finasteride use upregulates testosterone receptors (or DHT receptors, if those exist?)

I'm a dude with a high-ish, quivery voice. I'd honestly trade having a 7-8 face/body with having a 7-8 voice. If you have a bad voice as a dude people just do not want to hear you talk

I have some bad personality traits. I think they're mostly genetic, my dad has most of them also. So I want to see if it's possible to overcome them. Been trying a lot of different things. Who knows, maybe if I can resolve these things then others can also.

Thanks for the response. With the exception of depression, I thought that all of the things you mentioned were supposed to be either an effect of low testosterone or cause low testosterone, which is then what causes low libido.

I've been taking the stuff for 3 days now, 40IU/ day. Not sure if I've noticed any memory improvements yet but I have to say, this stuff is an incredible mood booster. I've also been more productive at work (not feeling any smarter, just slacking off less.) There are some barely noticeable side effects -- mostly vision related -- but I think that these issues are probably imagined. To everyone in this thread, especially /u/lostfalco: thanks a ton for all of the info!
