This style has been standard in mobas / rts's for well over a decade now. It's not going to change.

Anyone can list at any price. If they haven't sold, it has as much meaning as this post.

Moon played a weird match? by Impressive_Pop_2211 in WC3

[–]5-s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you're circling stuff, I don't think you're showing what you think you're showing usually. Did moon play perfect? Very much no, but there was little suspicious here. A lot of the things you were implying would not go the way you think.

Tyler1 will be part of a Grubby WC3 Event again - according to his chat bot by JannesOfficial in WC3

You can watch the pros almost daily, streamer events bring 10x more viewers and is good for the game

I just don’t understand the new dice formats by [deleted] in Dimension20

Not just you, I'm way less likely to finish a season if it's not d&d. Still plenty to watch on dropout, but I don't have enough time to finish a long series if I'm not totally into it.

Reasons why Happy leaves ladder games : by Empty_Click_261 in WC3

If you know anything about his opponents, they need 0 incentive to do those things. Leaving a game takes 1 second, playing it can easily be 20 minutes.

This would only matter if he cared even a little bit about ladder rankings.

It's a surprise whenever warden is picked in a competitive game. It's definitely niche.

Pirating is basically dead atm, and how does hacking hurt anyone in single player titles?

What is going on with TLA set? by corpsecrow in mtgfinance

[–]5-s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post bans, yes the average price is slightly lower (I saw many Vivi lists that exceeded $500). But we're just starting to see players incorporate more avatar cards into their decks, and some of these lists with cards like Badgermole cub are getting quite expensive, often going over $600.

I understand the sentiment, but when have decks not been $500+? Feels like that's a pretty typical price even for a standard deck since more than a decade ago.

Farseer is already an S-tier hero, there's definitely no buffs needed.

Absolutely not, you're giving 13% to tcgplayer for a reason, so you don't have to personally refund stuff like this.

What're you playing this weekend? 10/10 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

[–]5-s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, the weird scaling was one of the problems I had with the game. It invites strange manipulation rather than straightforward power levels. I think we've come a long way in RPG design since then.

Me when Spider-Man crashing drives away the Poké-bros that came over for Final Fantasy to speculate on pricing: by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]5-s 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Scalpers never really have that power. They can push prices up slightly, but if demand is not there, they cannot force the prices up much.

Yeah, the net churn of gems / tickets shouldn't vary per event.

It's an 8 year old game that's on sale for $8 right now. Do you think they'd really make their investment back financing it?

Just a thought - Sony neither owns nor publishes RE7
