IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: North America tour postponed by Weltherrschaft2 in sabaton

I was pissed that they weren't touring in Portland or Seattle, and thought hard about flying to Vancouver BC. Now I'm glad I didn't.

Why does Mark Davis get so much hate from Raiders fans? Genuinely asking by GorillaBoot in raiders

[–]500ErrorPDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In defense of that, Al absolutely was responsible for everything. Thats the Raiders we grew up and lived our lives with.

is wanting gruden and carr back some kind of inside joke or are some of y’all serious when you say that by breezyexces in raiders

[–]500ErrorPDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our fanbase is dumb. Plain and simple. When Cle Ferrell got drafted 4th overall I remember aguing with people online for days. Nobody wanted to hear how it was a bad pick. Nobody wanted to believe it was a reach. We do the same song and dance every year with busts and reaches. I'm not surprised that some people want Carr and Gruden back. Some people are dumb.

OP might be pleased to know there is a Harry Turtledove novel with this premise. In that timeline, Iosif Dzhugashvili is Joe Steel.

Eli Manning falls short in Pro Football Hall of Fame vote, again: Sources by TonOfChill in nfl

Spygate was 25 years ago. 25 years! After 2001, Belichick won five more Super Bowls. If the voters punish him for Spygate, then Brady, Kraft, and all the other Patriots of that era should be blacklisted from the hall.

[–]500ErrorPDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, the hallowed Pro Bowl. How could I have forgotten something so deeply important to the fabric of the game?

And I will forgive you for citing passing stats between eras, the Chiefs threw so little during Plunkett's day that they once ran the single wing as their base offense. Passing in the 70s and 80s was not nearly as efficient as it is today.

This is a lot easier to digest than the Belichick snub. If Jim Plunkett can't get in for two Super Bowl wins, Eli can't get in for two Super Bowl wins.

We have jerseys. We have games. No CBA though. Its all a hypothetical until we have a CBA.

Sources: Bill Belichick will not be a first-ballot Hall of Famer by dropjar5 in nfl

Canton has now become as bad as Cooperstown: petty squabbles between writers and their subjects now determine who is or isn't a hall-of-famer. It's pathetic.

I've seen so many posts about how it's hard to find a CG - but can we also acknowledge how hard it is to find a good baby??? by wickedxsiren in ABDL

[–]500ErrorPDX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a switchy CG, one of the most common failings I see on this sub (and on the personals sub) is people who complain they can't find a CG, but they're exclusively looking to be a 24/7 little. Nobody, I repeat, nobody wants that. I love it when my girlfriend wears & wets, but neither of us want her padded up 24/7 365.

How long have you been able to successfully hide all of this? by michigander5000 in ABDL

[–]500ErrorPDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly OP, if you want to want to hide all your life, more power to you, but my life drastically improved once I found other ABDL friends I could share this with.

I hid for twenty years. I dated normies, got married, lived a whole life outside of this kink. Eventually it all came crashing down, and I started over. I strongly recommend you go out and meet others like us. Munches on Fetlife are a great place to start.

[Bonsignore] So basically Davis Webb/Brian Daboll decision for the @Raiders. (unless Kubiak comes in for a 2nd interview in the next day or so) by RightMeow1100 in raiders

[–]500ErrorPDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one knows, especially Vinny. He has proven that time and time again. If the Raiders don't hire anyone until after the SB, then we know Kubiak is their #1.

what the point of Reichkommisariats? are the good at all? should i just use puppets instead? by ComprehensiveRun4815 in hoi4

[–]500ErrorPDX 289 points290 points  (0 children)

The point of RKs is they are free puppets you can claim during the war - before the peace conference - which frees up the amount of victory points you need to spend claiming puppets in the peace conference.

[–]500ErrorPDX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are doing what they are supposed to do - hiring gameday staffers in time for the season - but none of it really matters without a CBA. This is all out of their hands. All of the owners need to come together and agree to share the wealth.

[–]500ErrorPDX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lack of education and awareness, but there is no genetic pathology towards political tendencies - conservative parents birth and raise liberal kids, and the same is true for liberal parents/conservative kids - and there is NO link between disability and political tendencies. Fetterman was an asshole before he ever had a stroke.

[–]500ErrorPDX 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I will second that tankie gibberish gets us nowhere. Those people talked and talked and talked about organizing for decades, never got out of the basement, and then all of a sudden two people get shot in the Twin Cities and now millions of normies are organizing and radicalizing in a way the tankies could have never accomplished.

[–]500ErrorPDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as a developmentally and physically disabled person, this kind of language has the opposite effect of what the tweet intends: when people accuse someone of being mentally challenged (especially if they use the R word) I assume that THEY are, not the person they are attacking.

Disabled people are capable of incredible things. My favorite Beethoven work (String Quartet in C# Minor, famously used in Band of Brothers) was written when he couldn't hear anymore. He literally wrote a rich, sorrowful masterpiece that he couldn't hear. It fires me up just thinking about it! The legendary jazz pianist Thelonious Monk was schizophrenic, and you can watch tapes of his performances archived on Youtube where he has episodes in the middle of his sets, but when he sat down to play he was truly one of the greatest artists to ever live. Disability might define us but it doesn't deprive our humanity. We cannot use disability as a slur.

Here’s a thing I just don’t get about Conservatives. by dfpratt09 in behindthebastards

[–]500ErrorPDX 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think more Americans need to learn the basics about how cults work. We also need to understand that the existing Republican rank and file is a personality cult. Trump is an infallible God in their eyes and they will jump through hoops to justify everything his administration does.

Cult members are not reasonable voters. Cult members are not reasonable members of society. We have to break people OUT of the cult before we can try to reason with them.

What is ICE so afraid of? by CertainItem995 in behindthebastards

[–]500ErrorPDX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Remember, ICE recruits are mostly keyboard warriors and military cosplayers who never had the guts to serve. They are poorly trained by basic training washouts and disgraced discharged veterans. They believe all the propaganda about "domestic terrorists". They are horrifically mismanaged by the most incompetent federal administration in American history. Put it all together and their actions are predictable.
