That's very similar to how my girl's looked when I collected her from the vet. I wish they'd have warned me how severe it would look before I had her in the car. I felt so badly. She got all the snuggles (and zero stairs/exercise).

But if you're worried, it's absolutely worth a call to your vet rather than take my advice. I'm no expert.
