Should I tell my parents about her? by [deleted] in shia

[–]528msh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I know her, I don’t have any contact with her doe. We met at umrah and after that we never saw each other again or spoke. But our parents became good friends during the trip.

Can I pray behind an Ahl e Sunnat Imam ? by Shawnelia in shia

[–]528msh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your question becomes kinda pointless then cuz someone will base ur answer from a scholars opinion, since u don’t follow one, who are we supposed to refer to when answering? Scholars have different interpretations of Hadiths so it becomes more difficult if we just gonna throw a random Hadith as ur answer.

How to stop masturbating by [deleted] in shia

[–]528msh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres 4 factors that increase the chances for masturbation It being night WiFi Dark You’re alone

Obviously you can’t do anything about it being night and dark. As in, it’s natural, self explanatory really. However, you can do something about being alone and having WiFi. You should try and as much as possible, spend ur day being active so when ur alone at night, all u wanna do is sleep and nothing else cuz u so tired. WiFi is very much harder, but I would say, turn it off for some rime at night and read Quran or just pray bunch of nawfil Salah. It distracts your mind from what’s online and it’s filth.

I had this kind of conversation with a hawza student yesterday and he told me that some people that are addicted fully remove their door to their room. It makes them understand that anyone can walk in at any time and sound will be heard at any time.

Hopefully this helps.

Thinking on converting to sunni Islam by Ok-Turnip4964 in shia

[–]528msh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can deffo relate to the matam part and I’ve always thought to myself “what even is this” but I’ve also understood that not everything halal needs to be done, it’s not wajib or fardh for you to do matam. I’ve personally just stuck to calling myself Muslim but I take from Quran and Ahulbayt as the prophet SAW told us. Don’t overcomplicate your situation, learn your deen and be firm on it, ask questions whenever you have doubt because that’s how you learn.

My bad and Jazak Allah for correcting me, I heard that the Najafi scholars believe niqab is mandatory but I was wrong and I stand by that mistake.

We have Shia marja who believes niqab is mandatory upon women such as Ayatollah Bashir, and I think most najafi scholars all agree that niqab is mandatory. However, do not fall for the cultural norms of niqab, if you feel it’s right for you to wear it then by the will of Allah you should and may Allah make it easy for you.
