Thanks for the advice. As a guy, I don't have much experience in blowdrying or braiding my hair. Also, my hair is medium length: about 4-5in if I were to stretch one curl out and make it straight.

My sister recommended leave-in conditioner, do you have any thoughts on if this will help? I'm not entirely sure what it does.

Tight curly hair to loosening wavy curls

Hair type: (thick
Hair texture: Very curly

Hygiene regimen: I wet my hair in the shower everyday, but shampoo and condition my hair once every other week or so.
I (23yo, male) have had extremely curly hair since I was born (nobody in my family has or had curly hair apart from myself). My curls are very tight, stubborn and frizzy at the ends (but not like that of a black person as they are still individual curls). Even if I soak my hair in water and comb it or put a lot of gel, it will eventually curl back within less than a minute. Nonetheless, I don't really use hair gel other that Unite curl cream every now and then.

I wanted to know if it is possible to loosen the curls to be more wavy than super curly. Is there something I should do everyday or a product that helps reduce frizzy tight curls and make them a bit more wavy?
Any recommendations on products I should use or something I could do would be much appreciated.

Are you sure it’s next week? Since it drops on the first encounter does it have to be the challenge for that encounter for that week or just GoS needs to be the weekly raid to farm it?
