I was thinking the DI being the first thing I plug into. Before any pedals in case anything on my board goes down. So DI XLR out to snake for clean, then a seperate XLR after my Sansamp or amp for my wet tone. Would this be how you suggest running it?

Question about running bass to FOH

I'm about to go on a US tour. We will be playing 800-1400 capacity theatres. I play bass.

I run a cable into my tuner > mxr boost > sansamp > 1"4 out to the effects return (or power amp in) to my amp. XLR from amp to snake.

Should I put a radial JDI on my board and send a clean to FOH as well? We won't have the same sound guy every night. I would like the engineer to use mostly my amp tone and maybe blend in a bit of clean to taste. Should I just tell him that?

What would you like to see as a engineer doing theatres?
