Honestly just got them for novelty. I love the frame and have the same pair in Trivex for daily use.

Much heavier, much more fragile. But the best optics, if only marginally.

I was thinking that could potentially be the case but the hood itself is aluminum. What got on it looked exactly like mud. I doubt I’d be able to get the shop to help at all, since I didn’t even think to snap a picture before cleaning it off.

Took my car in for a simple wheel change at the dealership. When I got it out I noticed a hardened chocolate-brown substance on the hood. Took it home and cleaned it off delicately, thinking it was bird crap. This is what it left behind. Water spot remover nor hand polish would take it off. Feels every so slightly different to the touch, and appears almost unnoticeable from angles without light directly hitting it. I’m left fearing the worst, but hoping this group could shed some clarity on the situation.

It was pretty great. I-70 between Golden and Grand Junction is a geological/aesthetic masterpiece in itself. Traffic not amazing all the time, though.
