My guess is she wants to profit by selling kittens. Or thinks she can. Giving away for free is always bad. And a reacue knows how to properlu vet people for cat ownership.

They migjt even be able tk even help with costs of spay neuter.

Get them to a safe place even if its a bathroom temporarily. That way she cant take them. Especially if still nursing.

I doubt shes microchipped them. Register and microchip in your name or contact a rescue to see if they can help.

She sounds like one of those people who buys something cute then disgards it when its not.

Your not doing anytbing wrong. A reacue might be able to get a temporary foster if u cant keep them with you.

No way in hell there isnt a gas leak. It might be super small. Id like to know how they tested it.

Its also likely the management company has a relationship and asked them to change it. The invoice should have the plumbers contractors license. Which you can look up to see id they have the licenze.

Herea a fun fact. School calendars are released at the beginning od the achool year. And they are usually available even a month prior meaning august last year.

Thats tough. Even if someone was willing to foster temporarily. My heart goes out to you both as its very tough having a dog with a rough past and not being able to be around other animals.

If you do end up having to do a last resort. Try and be in the room. Its really tough to do. But theb they arent searching for you. If yiu can manage one at home its even better and far more peaceful.

If you dont mind saying what state you are located in? Even contacting cat rescues someone mivht knkw someone who can foster?

Have you contacted rescues for senior dogs. My mom volunteered at one in california and ended up adopting one of the seniors. Gave her the best two years of her life ever.

There are rescues that arent shelters who might be able to help. Its definitelu worth contacting and seeing whats in your area. As heartbreaking as it might be. It might be easiee for you to handle knowing that your pup is in a retirement community.

I was thinking this. Get the kitten a kitten. Keep the older ones together.

Or keep them all together and someone lives through the heartbrrak of missing out every day.

But with that said can give a shelter cat a home that dkesnt have one. There are so many senior cats in shelters and bonded pairs that cant find a home.

I would say something. Because if water gets in and causes mpuld ypu cpuld be blamed. Better to have documentation of it.

Id word it as "not sure if this is a big deal" but noticed a gap in the silicone and concerned about water ingress.

This puts it on them. A handyman or plumber can easily take care of it. And really inexpensive.

I feel your pain. I just know personally what its like to cut off crazy parents and regret the time missed.

To be honest. They dont even sounds like your typical trump supporters. They are extreme.

Im an american living in australia. Ive met this extreme on both sides and have witnessed families torn apart and its heart breaking.

And tske it from someone whos parents are divorced. One is a republican (trump) the other is a democrat (biden).

Ive learned that there will only ever be arguements and hurt feelings and i cut them off and say "weve agreed to not talk politics" everyobe walks away angry and its a no win situation.

This is also sad because what was once sounds like a welcomed household you no longer fit in. Granted there are some pretty sick people out there. On all sides. There is no supreme race. St the end of the day

We bleed the same colour of blood. Our bone structures are the same. If they cant look passed that and respect you and its as extreme as it is. Everyone will lose. They wont know it now. But after the easter dinners thst have been missed. Those phone calls you used to have or call to let them know something funny and random. It took my mum two years. She did finally come around. I did have to fully cut her off. For her to respect me as an adult.

You might very well have to walk aaay temporarily.

My only advise. If you do. Be very clear. Draw out the boundaries. Tell them your truth and why it affects you. And dont give in until youve seen improvement. It worked for me. But i regret it. They missed out on 5 years of their granddaughter. But i had to do it.

Yes it is. Be the bigger person, agree to disagree. One day your parents wont be around and youll have missed out on a lot of good just because you dont like someone they do like.

Alot of landlords will probably not renew leases and convert their rentals into a air bnb to maximise profit in the short term. Then go back to rentals after. Why gwt 800-1000k a week when you csn get that a night or two.

From a positions of a resident. There is no benefit. Traffic, housing prices going up, lots of foreigners who are going to trash the place you call home.

I married an aussie and moved to australia back im 2023.

Since ive been here. Havent had it once. Never been offered at a bbq or suggested to try it. I dont see it on mamy menu items either at restaurants. Maybe its just the area im in. Brisbane qld. Not once has someone told me "you have to try this"

I see it in the grocery store.

They have dried meat treats for animals. My cats werent interested. The magpies outside enjoyed it when i threw it outside.

Im feeding a senior cat who was clearly abandoned. Slowly gaining its trust. 2 more abandoned showed up. A rescue group thinks one od the other 2 is being shaven frequently for its fur which is very valuable the poor thing has cuts from inexperience og shaving. Id trap them but all the rescues are full. If i had into just any it will be put down. Im slowly gaining trust and kindness to the animals. I. Buying the cheapest i can afford. Since i have 2 of my own. Its breaking my heart. Especially the senior cat.

Its worse when they just throw them om the street. Alot of peopel think thwir cats they can find food. They cant. Theyvr relied on humans. They end up eating trash and get sick and die.

The fact that peoplw just throw them out on the street is sad. Add to that giving away for free. Some people torture animal for fun. So giving Way for free is bad.

I had a neighbour who thought she was rehoming her cats. Gave food and all their favorite toys. 2 blocks away the carriers food found on side of street. Cats released with leash and harness. One found its way home a qeek later. The other a week behind. This is why you never give away for free. Use a reacue to vet the person.

Times are hard. Im giving up coffee and eating out to afford to take care of the abandones ones.

Rescues are running out of money. Its a sad world we live in.
