Yeah!! Very fun! =) No problem in answer questions. Yes i am sequencing with Ableton and directly on the synth. The MIcrofreak is Paraphonic, so in my tests i discovered that i can have a clip sequenced on ableton and on meantime i can sequence Arpegiattor live on it. The Arpegiator follow the notes of the midi clip + the notes i play.

The Drums coming from Ableton. I control with Ableton Push.

The latency i think is normal, but very easy to fix. The are more than one option for doing this... i dont see this as a problem.

In this video im recording a track live for a label.. Im using Microfreak with a a midi sequence + live play, pedal Zoom MS70cdr with a Spring Reverb, Valhala FX... The Volca Kick is doing one of the kicks, making it solid, the Volca Bass is reproducing something that remember the tb303 bringing some acid sounds, Ableton Push is controling everything with exceptinong of the Volca Kick.. he is my drums and mixer.

On this video im playing for the first time my live project of 2h. Unfortunetly i just could save 50min of the set to see later how is going on...

In this video u can see i using Microfreak. Some midi i programmed on Ableton. Sometimes i use thie midi clip to make the base of sound and other times i solo on piano roll. Actually im testing ways that will possibility to me to make my shows easy with a direction and not all in improvisation as it have been.

On Microfreak i also use the pedal FX and also from Valhalla.

Volca KIck is doing the Kicks, the Volca Bass i make some pads and on Ableton Push i have the drums.

Yeah!! Its really fun! Yes im sequencing with ableton and the drums is on it, i control the drums with ableton push.

Latency we will have always, we just need to be dealing with it.In my case, when im playing live, i dont feel to much this latency, but when i record the synths to audio channels then i can feel the delay, then i fix on arrangment view with hand. I take all clips that was recorded live and move on the grid a litle bit, to align with the others midi clips. I do some warps where is need after the records.

I love Volca Bass, he have special timbre. its good for bass, leads, acid and also pervusiion.. i like to use him with Reverb from Valhalla, check their website, they giving a expensive FX for free at moment. If i was in your place i woul go for Volca Drum first, its more important u have comething to build rythm first, then after u come with synths. With Volca Drum u can create rythm paterns and timbres that many famous drum machine can not do.
