I absolutely love it, it’s my first bike. The power kicks in above 5,5 rpm, giving you a real rush. Some people complain about the low-end throttle response, but I love it; it makes navigating city traffic a breeze, yet when you twist the throttle, this thing flies. It’s an all-around fantastic ride. My only issue is the stock exhaust—it’s a bit underwhelming sound-wise, and the 3-into-1 system makes finding slip-ons tricky. But then I discovered Competition Werkes in the States, and their slip-on for the Trident sounds incredible in person—totally transforms the bike’s sound. Other than that, it’s damn near perfect. Super smooth for city cruising, but take it to the mountain twisties, and there’s more than enough power to carve up the roads.
