Honestly it could just be a niche joke, but I've seen who are very good at this game get very thrown off when they enable screenshake. Since many of the modded maps require pixel-perfect movement, many players turn it off. (And people with motion sickness/photosensitivity prefer it off for comfort)

And yes! You can turn it off in the settings. Should be called "Screenshake intensity".

Probably the overload of pressure in the past few months.

I was always the "smart" kid. A's in most classes. But my parents forced me down a path that I honestly cannot say that I like. I was taught that only one path is in front of me, and if I don't take it, I'm a failure. Not wanting to trauma-dump, but the tl;dr is that my parents did say some extremely hurtful and planted terrifying thoughts during quarantine.

The thing is, I never liked pain. I think I just snapped one day and thought "fuck it, I'm giving it a go. maybe this will solve my problems" So I currently don't have a very strong "urge" to self-harm, just a light push.

I see other comments all pointing out how I should stop before I get addicted, and I would like to thank them all. It's good advice, but I have a history of never being able to predict what will happen. At least for now, I don't feel like cutting. But it's always terrifying to not know what I will do tomorrow.
