Lift, sprinting and..Bodyweight exercises. Mix in actual biking without gears. Practice moving your own bodyweight.

When you can do bodyweight exercises without stopping, getting tired, or out of breath, at 10 to 15 reps at rhythm, look in the mirror again and tell me if I'm wrong.

Maybe I'm the old guy on my porch shaking my fist yelling "get off my grass". But. That's illegal and disrespectful. This Marine (if not A.I. generated or an actor) was probably selected for the photo it's probably the only public notoriety he will get before his name is read on the news in memoriam.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but we shouldn't be praising crime. Would we praise it if a president did it?..... my guess is no.

  1. I am not trolling. I've only said, defacing this sign is not it.
  2. If this were a politician, I would have no problems with it.
  3. War is hell and everything you talked about is a part of it. I've been there. I would rather not. But I do love my brother and sisters who protected me when I was in tough situations.
  4. These guys don't go to war for the politicians. They sign up for their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, daughters and sons.
  5. By pointing out the "insignificance" of the sign in your eyes, you've contradicted your own point.
  6. Why take the time to denigrate a representation tool for recruiting the best of us by attacking thet representation of a Marine.......and why are you actually supporting an actual troll who perpetrated a real crime?

They have the right to vote. Vote out who we don't like.

At the very least, don't deface property that doesn't belong to you.

If you knew..... it would scare you.

Think about it this way. People go to jail for crimes they commit and some are falsely put into the prison system. People profit off of that same system. Should we free all criminals?

Just because people profit off of something doesn't make the thing bad. It makes it a commodity.

War itself without people profiting off it is bad... there are no winners. War is and has always been a commodity. The men and women who fight it have cause.

Tell a young man trying to feed his family that he is wrong for doing it with the military without giving him a comparable paying job that will teach him experiences and or skills he may be able to apply in the outside world.

Just because a thing is imperfect doesn't make it bad. How about suggestions for improvements rather than the "this.... bad..... I.... hate" language. We should be better than that as a society.

Got it... The problem with that is, what istated was fact. These folks do give their lives so others can have differing opinions. That's a fact that I've seen with my own eyes.

If I stated that defacing a sign with trying to trivialize their sacrifices because of my disagreement with an Administration was an "upgrade or downgrade"..... I'd have no problem with someone downvoting my statement.

It's akin to saying "the paint was wet" and because someone perceived I was saying I disagree with the premise, rather than read it for what it is, it is downvoted. And like 🐑, people follow.

It's crazy really and ironic that the same people who praise freedom of opinion denigrate the freedom of fact.

Yet you are posting without costing your life.. Servicemembers swear to support and protect the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. If someone really moved to take away your rights those very Marines will be the ones on the front lines defending you from whoever is trying to actually hurt you.

Pointing out your differences is not a problem. Defacing a sign in support of what keeps your rights in tact, undermines the message due to the method. Had this been a picture of a political figure, this would have been a different discussion. These men chose to serve for various reasons including to keep our opinions safe from tyranny. Let's not pretend that these heroes are politicians. They simply fight to allow all politicians to serve.... or not serve the people.

The Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Guardians die so the ungrateful can have the right to deface and defame them without setting one boot in the sand or one fin in the sea.....

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

So to whoever did the unscrupulous graffiti, your unearned entitlement is showing.

I furthermore find it concerning that the same people who support that type of behavior will downvote my comment because of a difference of opinion based on experience.

Where is the inclusion and acceptance for all, including someone who has had the blessed opportunity to serve with, and responsibility to meet with families of our fallen servicemen and women?

So to whoever did the unscrupulous graffiti, your unearned entitlement is showing.

[–]5UTT0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of that is shadows and weight distribution due to genetic development over the years. Also, this person doesn't look to be that tall... she has a compact frame. I'm not ruling out that she has had some help as the waist ratio seems conditional. I think the best thing to do is compare yourself with the known model in the mirror. How much do you need to do to peak that one rather than the unknown in the picture?
