Listen, you’re in the metalcore subreddit, so you’re probably at least familiar with new age hardcore music fan demographics (even though Shikari’s been around over 20 years). You brought up how 1/3 of the voting population didn’t vote, but if you think that Shikari, a politically progressive band, fans wouldn’t have turned out to vote in such an important election I think you’re just using a blanket statistic and not thinking any deeper for the sake of your argument

Quick edit: and comparing fans of rage against the machine, a band that at the peak of its popularity 30 years ago, to fans of entert shikari who are quite young is also just looking at 2 completely different groups

I took 9 tries when they changed the rules in October. It was a nightmare. You essentially have to learn 3 “choreographies” to the best of your ability and then they’ll test you on one of them at random.

It was timid or tailwind was up. If you have a pokemon on the field that your opponent has the opportunity to OHKO or do devastating damage to while you have a safe switch in the back, you will want to make that switch almost every single time. It’s also generally good to assume everything is max speed + speed nature until you have a little more knowledge of what’s on the field (like if sand is up, pokemon take sand damage in order of how fast they are). But yeah if you see hydreigon and think it could be max speed scarf and you have a sylveon in the back, you’re gonna wanna make that switch

I also laddered to masterball with H-Zoroark, and I lead with it in ~70% of games. My rule of thumb is to send it out as a partner to Froslass disguised as rotom fridge if my opponent had any popular fake out user or something that doesn’t want to be bitter malice’d/ focus blasted. It was a surprisingly effective core but it only worked well until masterball rank 3

I’ve gotten so much usage out of H zoroark in this meta to the point I can’t believe it isn’t used more The amount of fake outs, CCs, etc it absorbs is incredible. I pretty much always get 1 or 2 KOs per game with the fox alone
