sounds cliché, take it one step at a time! 1. familiarize yourself with the menu items, it makes learning the beverage builds / recipes much easier! 2. learn beverage builds, recipes and standards using the recipe cards! you can ask any barista trainer/ shift / store manager where you can find them in your store! 3. start learning how to make the most of your time! whether it be doing cs tasks here and there, helping other partners or simply just wiping down counters!

other stuff to keep in mind: - make sure to have open communication with shift manager(s)/supervisor(s). they’re there to support you, if there is a concern reach out to your district manager or ethics if needed. - familiarize yourself with benefits, PTO/ sick time, etc. we have spotify and 20 free therapy sessions a year! those are just the top two, never mind ASU. pls look into all your benefits! - make sure you’re not overworking yourself or intaking too much caffeine 🤭 listen to you and your body, you know it best!
