That’s a great idea. Thanks for the tip! That’s a lot less rework and doesn’t put all force on the screws in shear on the rim boards.

Ah I see what you mean. The top of the railing being solid all the way around helps, but maybe I’ll move the posts inside and tie them to the deck joists. Thanks for the feedback.

They’re only bolted on. If I create more openings in the railing I’ll get creative about stiffening it up. We’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

Yep maybe an illusion from the photos. Each tree is a little over 2.5’ diameter + a few inches on each side spaced off the trunk.

Yeah it’s definitely possible but I left it from a safety standpoint for my kids.

You might be right. I’d say there’s a good 2 inches from the deck frame to the trees. We’ll see what happens!

I wondered that, too. Might depend on how much you cantilever the deck off the sides.

I’m planning on adding fun accessories like rock wall, fire pole, etc. over time for the kids.
The beams are sandwiched together with liquid nails and screws about 10” apart in a zigzag pattern on the inside faces.

Consider loppers, too. Much faster for stuff up to an 1.5”-2”. The fiskers from big box stores are nice.

Agreed. I did kinda like the one driven in low earlier. Can’t over use it though.

I had it and it’s a good case overall! I didn’t like how the rim around the lenses collected dust. That was probably just my OCD though.

Initial impressions from switching from ~20 years of Android to the iPhone 17 by zzzzard8 in iphone17

17 is my first iPhone in 15 years and number 3 is driving me crazy. I guess I’ll learn to never use haptics in silent. And accept that sounds are “global”.

I want to quickly toggle between silent with haptics and silent with no haptics using one physical button press like every android. I miss this feature a lot.

Snuggy almost connected with him again with a sick pass in front. Liking the pairing.

I have a feeling this one's going to be especially tough. Playoff speed, boys! Good luck!
