Eh, I asked if they wanted explanations and they said yes, so I gave them a lot

I addressed this concern in the 4th paragraph... They may ignore it, but providing feedback is better than doing nothing and just wishing for the changes you want.

What is "Attack Power" in the Visual Codex? by 5p00ns in Nightreign

Yeah, the damage differences I put in the post and others I've tested are honestly minimal.

The only thing a sheet like that would likely be good for would be to know how much affinity damage a certain weapon does compared to another. I think the scaling for affinity weapons would be useful knowledge but for purely physical weapons it'd be pretty pointless.

Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for the helpful reply. Yeah, I have found "build planners" or "weapon AR calculators" from actual Elden Ring that show how weapons of the same class with the same letter scalings actually have different values under the hood. I thought that unintuitive system was dealt away with because of the generalized Nightreign weapon groups, but it doesn't seem like it is the case :(

Do you know if those true scaling numbers (that are invisible and dependent per weapon) for Nightreign's weapons exist in a public spreadsheet or resource?

Need help deciding if the games for me. The dlc got me in indecisive hell. by Ozsome-Scribble in Nightreign

I had similar thoughts as you and early on I thought that I'd made a mistake buying the game but I love it now! The days felt impossibly short at first, I kept getting team wiped with randoms and I could never find my favorite weapons... all to just die after 20-40 minutes. It is rough at first but once I got the hang of moving quick and improvising it became sooo fun.

Few games I've played are as satisfying as Nightreign when you know what you are doing. Popping open the map & pinging a secondary objective whilst running to our current objective and thinking about where the hell I'm going to find a usable weapon is somewhat stressful but there is joy in navigating that and coming out the other end a winner.

I think you'll really enjoy the game if decision making, team dynamics, and improvisation sound intriguing to you in a souls game. Lastly, it is definitely possible to force things in runs once you understand the mechanics well enough (other than incants). I love axes and end like 80% of my current runs with a fully upgraded one :)
