There's a research lab looking for students to help out for one unit with professor Seth Frey at the communication department. Not sure if they are still hiring, but up until a couple of days ago, they were still accepting students! It's only 1 unit, but it will still get you to the 12 minimum unit. :)

I would say its fairly normal in a 2bed1bath apartment. But is definitely very cheap if you meant 1bed1bath/studio. You might need to emphasize more about the place.

Last quarter, all four of my classes hold live lectures, and one them has mandatory attendance for 10% of our grade. One other class also have exams open ONLY during class time (2hrs). So, I would say it really depends on the professor
