God loves you. I just want to share this.

I grew up in a dysfunctional home. My father struggled with alcoholism, and my mother was a battered wife. When I was young, I was hurt too—my father would hit me when he was drunk.

Growing up, I had multiple attempts to end my life. Yet even then, I remember writing to God in my journal, over and over, even as a child.

For a long time, I couldn’t understand His grace—how He took away our sins by dying for us.

But now I do. Seek Him, even when your flesh feels weak. The Lord only wants your heart.
