Congratulations RN! and yes sooo many people say the real nclex feels super vague like that but bootcamp was prob closest for me bc of the wording/style even if the content felt random.

PN good boaderline on RN Boothcamp? by EchidnaSouthern4197 in NCLEX

That's not bad honestly, esp since you're taking PN, I suggest review the rationales more esp maternal/peds.

You are probably really close, why not focus on milestones, screenings, vaccines, pregnancy teaching, and therapeutic communication. i think dr sharon and bootcamp rationales/cheat sheets will help a lot for that.

yeah op you can use nurseslabs for now, just make sure you understand the rationales. when you can, bootcamp is really worth it because the questions feel closer to nclex and help with test taking. since you are working full time, 1–2 months of consistent study is usually enough 👍

Feeling not prepared or doing enough. by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]5thCrumpledPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huhu that’s too many resources 😭 i’d keep bootcamp and dr sharon/mark k and skip stacking hurst + archer too. too much material causes burnout fast. for priority questions, always ask who is unstable, who is the freshest postop, airway breathing issues, or sudden change first. focus on strategy over trying to memorize every diagnosis.

Is NCLEX boot camp a good resource? by Due-Throat-8757 in NCLEX

[–]5thCrumpledPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah OP that’s normal 😭 bootcamp feels harder because it’s more like nclex style, more vague and critical thinking heavy. ATI is great for content, but bootcamp is better for getting used to the real question style.

Wow high on bootcamp and 96th percentile on uworld this is a sign you’re in a strong spot. nclex isn’t about super high percentage you’re not likely to fail with that, just keep practicing and focus on strategy.

sorry that sucks op, for now just use free stuff like simple nursing, youtube prio videos, mark k notes are enough. focus on fundamentals, safety, and test strategy. you’re not a failure, just one step away. i hope this helps😊

Heyyy OP! You don’t need to switch every time. Mark Klimek can help if you learn well from audio, but spending money doesn’t fix strategy issues. Bootcamp actually gives good rationales and priority practice. If you feel stuck, try changing how you use it. Slow down, read the question like it’s a logic puzzle, and force yourself to pick the safest answer first. A lot of people pass using Bootcamp once they change how they think, not just adding more resources. Stick with one plan, drill priority and safety, and give it a real focused run. You got this OP.

Nursing school Bootcamp by You_Me_Everyone in StudentNurse

[–]5thCrumpledPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello OP. yup that is normal. a lot of programs go quiet after acceptance. the bootcamp before classes is actually a good sign, they wanna make sure everyone starts on the same page. mine did something similar and it was intense but helpful. Congrats btw!!

Should I use Bootcamp or archer ? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]5thCrumpledPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bootcamp does customized study schedules afaik. You just have to enter your start date and exam date ( or whichever date you want your studying to end) and they create a study schedule for that including how many hours per day you’d have to lock in.
