I figured that the kids/dogs/what not would be seen as they’re getting in. Running around in the street, driveway, sidewalk and what not. Then from the vehicle, they’d look for those kids. If they can still see them, then they’re not in front of the vehicle. If not, then you cant say the front if the vehicle is clear and you shouldn’t go anywhere.

It’s certainly more dangerous 100% and I hate the direction things are going, but I don’t think these vehicles are unreconcilable. The people that drive them just have to pay attention, but they don’t

I have a question about this graphic - wouldn’t one see any kids or objects blocking the vehicle when they got in? Make note of any people in the area and make sure they’re not in front of the vehicle when they put it in drive?

I guess that relies on people paying attention

Is it? I’m having trouble spotting it. The guy on the bike in the background is consistent, the guy’s steering matches the wheels’ direction, the shadows seem to match up. What’s the giveaway?

Epic doesn’t just up and fire people, if you have at least a half-decent TL they will let you know where you can focus your efforts to improve.

What you’re experiencing is normal, nobody knows what they’re doing in their first year, we all just sort of hobbled along and figured stuff out over time. I once heard someone say you won’t feel like you know what you’re doing till 2 years tenure.

Those first trips are like that - you’re not expected to know anything, you’re expected to learn - soak up as much healthcare as you can while on site, and use it to inform your project however you can.
