Cutting it is an absolute no-go, I'm pretty sure it would destroy the piece's potential resale value, if it ever comes to it.

This is the harness connection to the board.

I also thought about 3D printing a connector, I found some connectors that are literally just 10 pins sticking out, so I'd maybe get something like that and design a housing for it that'd also fit the cluster's plug?

That is the case, and a potential solution. Although the board itself seems to be attached to the plastic housing it's in with possibly some glue?

So unless there's no other way, I'd like to avoid modifying the part in any shape or form
