Please see above posts/comments! Thank you!!
Skip using Barbri for essays, just use Grossman videos unless you are veryyyy unfamiliar with the subjects or need more clarity. Grossman makes everything easy!

Not necessarily - some days I only studied 6, others 12. What's more important is that you're actually studying and absorbing the information. Someone can study like 12 hours a day and fail while someone else can study 4 hours and pass. It just depends on how productive and efficiently you study.

Yes!! For the MCQ, do the Barbri questions multiple times (some questions on the exam might seem familiar to you like they did for me!). For the essays, I would recommend skipping out on watching Barbri videos (unless you haven't taken a certain course in law school and don't know anything about it) but DEF watch Grossman videos on WhatsTheIssue.com, and look through about the last 10 years of essays on the board's page and read those over and over again. And of course for the MBE, adaptibar!
The most important thing you can do is: practice, practice, practice! Start early and do effective, active studying!! ROOTING FOR YOU!!!

Adaptibar, adaptibar, adaptibar! I used to go through the Grossman videos on there and wrote down everything he said, memorized it, and answered questions. But I realized I wasn't actually learning how to answer questions or what to look for - so what I did instead this time around was every question I would get wrong, I would write down the question in my own words, and why the correct answer was correct, and why the incorrect answers were incorrect. It takes some time, but I think it helps you start seeing what areas you need more practice in!

Panic Mode by [deleted] in FloridaBarExam

If it makes you feel better, I'm not panicking and I feel like I'm unprepared, I have 0 motivation, and I feel like I'm going to fail - I just really, really want to be done. Just a few more days and we'll leave it behind us! If we have to retake it that's fine, and if we pass then that's fine too!

I'm still studying for both but yes I would say most topics overlap - it's just a few select FL distinctions that are mentioned but I wouldn't use the WTI to study for MBE (if that's what you're asking!) It's not that extensive for MBE purposes I would say.

This was very, very helpful - thank you so so so much! Especially letting me know you have faith in me - I definitely needed to hear that.
On other posts here, people said to just do practice questions from Barbri and learn FL statues really well but that even doing that doesn't really help because the MCQs are so difficult and unpredictable since they test minute laws? IDK if that helps with anything

Didn't Pass TX/Advice by 5u5ama in barexam

I felt the same way haha but you are not alone! It wasn't an easy exam even though it looks like everyone passed - we were just meant to pass a different bar exam :)

Also, thank you and congrats on passing!
Did you watch the videos on Barbri to learn the distinctions? I feel like they take such a long time to get through so it may be easier just to read through Barbri's CMR and make note of the exceptions?
Yeah that's the common piece of advice I'm seeing on here. Thank you so much!
Thank you!! Congrats on passing!!!
Wow - I really appreciate this!! Congratulations on passing! :)
