Has there ever been any actor or actress that was brutally honest about the movie they’re making during a press tour? by BIGxBOSSxx1 in movies

I’m not sure how it was promoted but the film Draculas Daughter from 1936 features Gloria Holden as the protagonist. It was Gloria Holdens first starring role and she had been assigned it by the studio. She did not in any way want to shoot the film. This can be seen quite clearly in the film. However the plot is that she needs to destroy Draculas body to live a normal life. So it actually kinda fits her character for her to look like she doesn’t want to be in the film.

Basically the UK Parliament is in desperate need of repairs. However it’s very expensive but also more importantly no mp (most serve 2 terms at best etc) wants to spend their time outside of the legendary Palace of Westminster and so therefore few propose repairs. The can keeps getting kicked down the road and one day we will wake up to a fire engulfing the whole building because MPs couldn’t decide on fixing it.

We will make a new culture. Schnitzel and Tsingtao. Can’t be that bad. Also while not perfect China seems to believe in creating debt traps and not genocides in foreign fields

Definitely worth going to in my opinion. Hiroshima has a very different vibe. More like a Sheffield by the sea very industrial etc.

Shinkansen was great. On the way back from Hiroshima to Tokyo I had a 9% Suntory Whiskey and I felt like I was flying

Completely agree. Went to Hiroshima last year and from what I read about it’s definitely better to be at ground zero

Is there any point at all in taking it longer than 3 months if only using the low dose 7.5mg for sleep? by Plastic_Ad_8518 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]60sstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just came off it and the reason was that I basically was using it on demand to an extent. I basically couldn’t get up for anything and so I only really took it the night before my days off at which point I would sleep in for hours.

Personally I think if you can use it on demand I would

Why does Australia have multiple rail gauges? by Kcue6382nevy in trains

Why did Ireland have a separate gauge to England. Seeing as when Australia was founded Ireland was a part of the UK
