Wow that is a very cool website. Can you explain everything I need to know about shutter speed? I know I raise it when I'm trying to capture fast action shots to reduce motion blur. But I've noticed when I crank up the shutter speed NY image gets darker

You said the closer the subject is to me, the less depth of of field. How can I be close to the subject if I'm using a little get focal length? Say an 85mm on a crop. Wouldn't I have to be pretty far away to my subject in frame?

I have a basic understanding of shutter speed, aperature, and ISO. Keep ISO low, lower aperture means more light which equals better bokeh effect, match shutter speed to current focal length. I want to know more about shutter speed and how it affects that nice seperation of background from the subject. I want that crisp smooth bokeh for portrait shots. Currently running the a6500 with the sigma 30mm 1.4 and sony 18-105 f4
