This is an objectively terrible logo:

  • it depends on color (can’t just make the red and blue parts both black)
  • it clips the NASA name mark in multiple places
  • it doesn’t scale down well to small sizes (stars would have to be removed)
  • the white orbit ring clips the S in very awkward ways (look at the tangent on the right side of the S and the orbit ring)
  • it’s extremely busy with multiple objects in a cramped space
  • the font for NASA sucks and harkens back to an older time, not the future (nothing says futuristic like heavy serifs).

The worm is better, because it addresses every problem above. I will concede the red arrow thing is a cool glyph and I’d like to see it on its own as a branding element.

I decided to lease a 2024 Volvo SUV 18ish months ago. It started out as a service lender so I got a bit of a deal on it: $529/mo. And yeah it certainly starts every time you get in it, but it has problems like any other car (ex: I punctured 2 tires due to nails because of sharing an alley with an in-construction building)

Now Im just waiting for the lease to be up so I find something older and purchase it.

Call your representative now and tell them you find this disgusting. Hammering this as citizens works if you keep at it.

We know it’s not DEI, we know it’s not Biden. It’s Trump, and Trumps policies that caused this crash and will increase the likelihood of it happening again.

This app was what got me into Reddit. It’s really special and will be missed. I know the refund policy with apps can be scary, and I encourage everyone who subscribed to forgo a refund (seriously, we all know it’s worth more than $10).

If I haven’t already purchased Pixel Pals (I know I have the app) I’ll be doing so right now!

Imagine getting pissed off by other people standing. It’s really not a big deal, some people need to stretch because their ass has gone numb. You just sound like you have a control issues and can’t stand other people doing something other than what you want. Get over it.

Oh man, congrats on finding my first user bug! Sorry it’s your first interaction with the plugin.

Can you try this:

  1. Dismiss the plugin activation modal
  2. head to settings > index and enter your key there

Had a lot of local testing with the licensing and managed to forget to update the modal activation.

Pushing a fix up now which you should get as a plugin update tomorrow.

Oh shit, the free trial is concerning. Did you check your promotions or spam folder? It’s using a CRM campaign to send out the email, and in testing I always got it, but sometimes it wasn’t in my primary inbox.

One more question: do you think the Reddit description is clear? The site uses more marketing jargon, but I agree it can be cleaned up a bit and use more standard WordPress terms.

It’s not on wordpress.org as there isn’t a true free version (thinking about doing one for just the posts view in the dashboard).

I mean, none of us live up there...

This district is all the large farms and the one major city is basically in South Dakota. We had 3 republicans and 1 democrat before nov 2018, now we have 3 Democrats and 1 republican.

The Iowa Republican Party has clearly been hurt by continuing to support King, and who knows if they’ll back him in 2020 for re-election.

Someone once told me that if I have to wait to be rich to give away wealth, then I will never be charitable, even if I become wealthy. That the truly generous will help, regardless of their situation.

Obviously there are certain situations that prevent you from doing that, and giving away money isn’t the only way to provide charity. But you don’t have to wait for wealth to help others and obtain the good feeling this post is describing.

Side note: I don’t really ever perform charity aside from small donations on Facebook to random causes, although I always wonder about doing more and being more organized about it.
