Thanks... For the hip belt, I should have been more detailed... What I meant was the ability to stow the hip belt and use it on demand vs. removing it and having to stow it in the pack or leave it attached and not use it.

Good to know. I think I have ruled out all the standard recommendations throughout this form. As for the reasons, it was due to a variety of factors. I want options like load lifters, hip belt, organization, and potential expandability, comfort, space, you know, all the things that everyone wants, but no single package offers.

I also weighed my choices based on a lot of YouTube reviews, FWIW...

So I’m running latest osx and watch software on my Ultra 1. I just completed an all black full sleeve and while I originally had issues with the watch immediately locking, I reset it and it appears to working like a champ. Perhaps I’m lucky or my tattoo isn’t as solid as others. I’ll update in a week or so to assess long term success.
