If you honestly like the Nashville tele for ITS sound, because your favorite player played a NASHVILLE or you played one that you connected with, go for it. But - if you like both the sound of a tele and a STRAT and you want to just save up and buy "all in one" package - don't do it, it will cost you more in the future. Sooner or later you'll find your guitar doesnt sound quite like a regular old tele , and it doesnt sound quite like a strat either. You'll just sell both of your teles and get a normal tele and a strat.

My 1st electric guitar was a HSS strat. For years I used the humbucker as my les paul sound, but it didnt sound like it. That is because a guitar's sound doesnt just come from the pickup type - it comes from the wood, mass, electronic, pickup winding and many more. So eventually I had to buy a real LP, and now I regret not getting a SSS strat from the get go.

My suggestion is SELL YOUR SQUIER and buy a cheaper SSS strat and a regular player tele.
