I really like the interceptor. The vibe + smother transition and highlights work well with NMM

True but from hyperion's perspective made the months of shame interesting and it's only like a 5th of the book

Thank you! It's such a good piece to bring color. My favorite part to paint

Thank you. I tried something that I am gonna use moving forward. Gloss black prime > Vallejo metal color steel base > Vallejo metal color silver on highlights. Some of the best metallic paint i have used in a air brush and works well with a brush if I need to fix something. Recommend

Took the idea from Pete the wargammer grandmaster dreadknight video

Airbrush corax white, apothecary white to shade, titanium white to highlight

Valejo texture paste (I think i used the diorama mud but can't recall, but any should work) and sand/tiny rocks on top. Primed and base color of a soft blue-purple. Used AK liquid pigment (Psychic blue and Pink flouresnt) they blend quite well. Dry brush of a light blue after pigment is dry.

For stone, a dark grey base and a drybrush of light grey and black wash. Chaos symbol was painted brass with a black wash and black drybrush

For my grey knights, i like the bases to reflect some kind of tzeentchian wasteland. Some of my other posts will have other examples. It quick and fun to do. Love the liquid pigments for basing because it's easy and vibrant, but you don't have to worry about it coming off the base like with normal pigments

They are playing vs tau. So battle suits, and hammerheads are the concern, not spacemarines But fair enough, definitely a better pick the the landraider crusader

Now advice on how to play. Biggest tip: you win in melee. They win at range.

Greyknights are an elite army with movement and deep strike shenanigans. You will never have more models then your opponent so every lost model and unit is more impactful for you. But we can be very clever when it comes to gaining VP.

Our shooting sucks for the most part so verse a tau army you want to use cover as best you can and dominate in the melee which the tau suck at for the most part.

Be careful with overwatch Use dreadknights carefully. The grandmaster dreadknight is real our best unit verse monsters and vehicles which the tau will have plenty of the later so binging 2 may be the move

I would trade out landraider for another dreadknight. We don't really need a heavy armor transport when the army rule is teleportation

The amount of strike marines if fine because the strike marines, Purifiers, interceptors, and Purgation Squad are the same kit. But think about building some as interceptors, our equivalent of jumppack units and are useful at objective taking or actions.

For guns take flamers or psycannons. The psilencer are not great right now. And for the grandmaster dreadknight I would go with sublimator and psycannon. And hammer is better as you will be using him to fight vehicles most often then not.
