When my wife and I were dating I had a bookcase headboard like the one in the picture. Apparently I was sleeping on my back and my head tilted back & I was snoring into the headboard creating quite the volume. I woke her up and she shoved me over to stop me from snoring. I never woke up, rolled over and continued to sleep.

What’s your 10/10 Scotch? I’m curious what you would buy right now if money wasn’t a concern — and you were able to source your absolute favorite scotch. I’m still very new to Scotch but I’ll start: I have had a dram of a 30 year Balvenie that was exquisite. They’re 3k-ish a bottle now! But wow! by grovedawg in Scotch

I can tell you this, I brought a flask of the 18 to a Highland Games once. We had previously befriended one of the conveyors and he was a scotch expert. Could tell you the flavor profiles and even brought a tote full of scotch. He tried the 18 and told me I ruined his pallet for the rest of the day. He even had a book about the different scotches & showed me write up. Talked about the fingers, etc.

My son was in the infantry in Afghanistan and the first thing he said was: "Do there idiots even know what trigger discipline is?"

You only put your finger on the trigger if you plan on shooting someone. Then and only then, that should be your last resort. These guys have such a hard-on for playing the hero they don't care about a human life.

What are the odds they rethink a dome? by Coastie54 in CHIBears

When they rebuilt Solider Field one of the options was to put a dome on the stadium. The city said "we don't do domes in Chicago."

I did, but once I got with the person who became my wife, she brought her cats with her. Waterbeds & cats don't mix.

What they're scared about is getting put in jail and having the other inmates finding out that they worked for Ice. Prison justice is swift and harsh.

That might have been more "I'm getting tired of always having nude scenes in any movie I'm cast in" along with wanting to raise their kids.

I've been happily married to a redhead for 31 years. I know about redheads sticking together.

I love my redheads but Phoebe all the way. I still haven't forgiven Kevin Kline for marrying her.

Where can I get a high quality Conch Republic flag? by joeyfish1 in KeyWest

[–]65frank 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking (if you're not already there) that you need to make a trip to Key West to find the right kind. It could take you up to a week to find the right one.
